      Suddenly a spaceship flies by...

      and the flopping flounder thinks he's gonna be rescued and go back to the sea

      but

      the giant spaceship blows up the pier instead



      Our hero Mr Flounder, suffers a concussion from the laserblast but manages to slide off the blown apart pier back into the ocean...

        drifting unconscious in the restless waves of the bay, Mr Flounder is suddenly spotted by a crazy old fisherman pulling up his nets.

          The Old Man has a wooden leg; a wooden eye and a woody in his pants. He befriends Mr Flounder not only because he is half-lit and half crazy, but he's a kind old soul as well. He fashions a wood fin prosthetic for the fin that was blown off during the spaceship lazer explosion.

          Mr Flounder says: "Thank you old man! Did ya see that? That motherfuckin' spaceship came outta nowhere! I thought I was having an acid flashback!"

            The old man looked up toward the sky and scanned its deep blue depths for a few minutes, suddenly shaking. Many memories seemed to flood across his face in a flush of colour, and he suddenly started gasping for breath
