Catherine,,,you're right to lose the guy,,,an hour is no big deal to see someone
if they want to...people will make an effort, and when someone starts with restrictions
then they're moving their parameters on you,,,I don't know if its exclusively a libra or
scorpio thing,,it also has issues of control and possesiveness, and jealousy

personally i'm libra w/venus in scorpio,,,so I enjoy depth in a relation,
tho i make quick decisions,,,which i have learned to do by spending time
with hard to handle horses and dogs,,,also from them I've learned
that its not about power "over" something, its more of power "with",,,

also personally i offer every woman an open relation,,they're welcome
to leave and more than welcome to stay,,,i'm not controlling or possessive,
tho i have moments of jealousy,,,I believe everyone has an appetite for
living and that its ultimately more important to be the authors of our own
lives and live up to what is fullfilling to the individuals life,,,

Something different was going on with Catherine's Libra with all the Scorpio and me (Libra/Scorpio cusp, Scorpio rising, Pluto conj Venus and squared my Moon on the cusp of the 8th house, and Mercury in Scorpio). I've never been into the chase at all. Mostly I would forget men the minute after I left them (to the point I wouldn't recognize several if I saw them somewhere). I couldn't imagine why you would want to chase anyone to be honest. They either want you or they don't and it's either as strong or it's not. Why bother with the ones that aren't?

The Aquarians I've known (and that's all I dated with the exception of one Scorpio) just clicked with me immediately and we stuck together. Of course they were all born in the same week (not the same year) so maybe it's just their week and mine or something. We seem to click on all levels, mentally, socially, sexually, etc and they seem to hit the emotional mark much faster than I do (that's an extremely rare thing with me to be honest). But I can't imagine playing any games with them. I genuinely like them and I can't stand games so I was honest with them to the point of harshness probably, but they were Aquarians so they liked it.

If anything, my Aquarians pursued me and obsessed about me. I don't think that was anything other than I'm even more airy than they are and I tend to "wander off." Literally. I'll get lost in my head over something and just go after it, forgetting everything else. For some reason they not only understand that, they feel like they have to look after me. We have a weird dynamic. I feel like I make them unAquarian that way.

What's up with your ex's Aquarius? Does he have any planets there? My Aquarius is in my 4th house and my Chiron (and my Dark Moon Lilith) are there. I feel at home with Aquarians and like they are people I can identify with me to be honest. I don't feel like that with anyone else. So maybe it's Karmic on my part and probably theirs too.
