Re: Virgo - aquarius
Fri, August 19, 2005 - 7:05 AMMy personal experience has been that these two signs do not mix harmoniously. Nothing really bad, but the Aquarian independent/contrary/aloof streak with the virgo want of orderliness/shows of affection/routine didn't seem to mix. I have a few virgo friends that I adore, but know that in a romantic setting it wouldn't work. Been there, done that, learned what I needed to learn. However, please keep in mind that this was MY personal experience, everyone is different. -

Re: Virgo - aquarius
Fri, August 19, 2005 - 8:28 AMMy flavor has always been Leo's but I did put my time in with Virgo's when I was younger. I find the virgin to be very charming. But I am not much for ego stroking - and that is tough on the virgin. My sister (also and Aquarian) is married to a Virgin and well.....it is definitely not harmonious! Go with the flow of it though...but don't count on anything everlasting! -

****mmmm... I'm sooooooooooo much like the Virgo you just described, and NOTHING like the typical Aquarian people always seem describe. Maybe this is why I do NOT get along with the signs Aquarius is 'suppose to mix with', like Aries and Gemini (my worst firghts EVER have been with Gemini's). I do get along great with Sagitarius, though.
anyway, back to Virgo + Aquarius....
my fiancee is a Virgo, and so is my best friend, and so was my grandfather who was everything to me. I get along GREAT with Virgo's, hehe... and Virgo's seem to love me, too :-)

Re: Virgo - aquarius
Fri, August 19, 2005 - 1:06 PMI get along great with virgos, except in the romantic/relationship realm. Then I feel smothered and they feel unloved. I then begin to view them as needy and then the resentment starts. Virgos are a great sign, just not for this aquarius.
Sara S - definitely more power to you. I know that I'm just not cut out for them. :) -

Re: Virgo - aquarius
Fri, August 19, 2005 - 1:48 PMthis virgo aqua question seems to come up every few months in this tribe. I thought we did away with virgos? -

Re: Virgo - aquarius
Fri, August 19, 2005 - 5:41 PMnever dated a virgin myself (if you'll pardon the pun lol)
However, my mom, brother, and child are all virgins. My mom and child love each other dearly but they butt heads constantly.
I will have to say that my virgin child was the mellowist kid in the world and I thought kids were a breeze until I had my wonderful beautiful exceptionally bright, energy draining, intense sagatarian who was also born in the year of the tiger. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Re: Virgo - aquarius
Tue, August 30, 2005 - 8:49 PMWell Harris, your Libra and Gemini aspects are likely what attracted you to an Aquarius....but there is a reason why this question comes up OFTEN; because we do not get along in a love relationship. At all. At least, not once the Virgo has "ownership" papers (marriage certificate). Then somehow everything changes, and the Aquarius feels totally betrayed by that. If a unicorn comes and walks with you of it's own volition, slapping a bridle on it is not a good idea, and that's exactly the way the typical Virgin thinks and acts. No offense meant- so do most other folks, but us Aquarians don't. We can't, never will.....which is why most of us file off our horns and stay incognito out of self-defense. :-)
And my experience has been that it is the Aqua who is affectionate, and the Virgo aloof and demanding...and we still don't get along. -

Re: Virgo - aquarius
Wed, August 31, 2005 - 6:15 AMcouldn't agree more, grandma. one other serious virgin quality that they are quite posessive and threatend by aquas throngs of friends. one of the biggest fights I ever had with a virgin love was my insistence on going out for drinks with a couple of buddies and not taking virgin along. it resulted in small scale armageddon.
virgin doesn't like to share, but they /can/ be trained. The small armageddon was early in our relationship and we carried on for 10 more years. Hell, we still love each other dearly and have a great time together, but no marriage for us, as much as I would like to keep that virgin, I've tried for 13 years and the best we can do is good buddies. Too many deeply rooted incompatibilities between virgo and aqua.

This is so my experience as well. Ex-boyfriend was virgo and it started out fine, lovey-dovey, blah blah blah, but went downhill pretty quickly.

Tue, August 14, 2007 - 10:36 AMAny suggestions is pretty vague opening... What areas do you find yourself curious or troubled about, Harris?
Have you been bf/gf very long? Are you both intellectually compatible and/or challenging to one another?

Re: Virgo - aquarius
Tue, August 14, 2007 - 8:15 PMI am a 6th house stellium Aquarius Sun,Mars,Saturn) with Uranus conj. Pluto in the Ascendant, Virgo..
I might say I embody these characteristics pretty well. I want my love to prefer to spend time with me, over others. However, I am sympathetic of the need for "alone time" as this is something I require. I want to be included in social outings.
I am eccentric and creative, and it pleases me when my partner appreciates and fosters this especially when it comes to self expression. I have a hard time with criticism, mostly because I feel misunderstood. I often keep my criticisms to myself, but this can backfire as my partner is unaware of what is going on in my head. Attention to details and planning is important to me as well. I want to have a plan and I like things neat and orderly, or my brain gets scrambled!
I don't know if this helps...

Re: Virgo - aquarius
Fri, August 17, 2007 - 11:01 PMToo many "exes" were coincidentally virgos. When I realized that this was the case, I try to not date virgos any more. These relationships were very rocky, rollercoaster-like, experiences; jealousies and control issues. No can do.
I do wish you all the best; I think that even within the sign challenges it can very much depend how "aware" and "emotionally available", and "enlightened" a person is, if any relationship is going to work. Really, we SHOULD all get along.... sigh.....
I would suggest that you let her be her aquarius self, realizing that she loves you and that you need not control or distrust her.
Cheers,
~eyefleye~

Re: Virgo - aquarius
Sun, October 14, 2007 - 2:29 AMFor some reason virgos love me. Why must I attract my least compatible sign? I think the biggest problem is the Aquarian shows little affection and can't handle it well.
