better off telling the aquarian to go slam his head against a brick wall until his brains spill out... save him some pain and torment :-)

I'm in the same boat as Verseau, Virgo asc. Aqua 6th house Sun, Mars, Saturn. Taurus Moon. It is Aqua vs Virgo all day, all hours. Thank god for my Taurus Moon and Venus in 7th house Pisces...relationships are my specialty. Specifically, Libras...

I had no idea there was any versus with aquarius and virgos. course I like both. may have something to do with the aqua sun and virgo moon... and etc.

a free-flowing aquarian who sees things in terms of the "big picture", and tends to look at the minute details as "petty" with a, shall we say "anal" virgo who focuses so intently on every minute detail and needs order and perfection in every aspect of their life. i'd say there's a versus. i'm an aquarius rising with uranus conjunct sun who just survived a relationship with a virgo rising, mercury conjunct sun girl. the beauty of our scorpio and pisces suns (which is an amazing connection) wasn't nearly enough to ease the battle between our aquarian and virgo aspects. i felt assaulted by "nitpicking" every day, while she felt just as assaulted, i assume, by the "chaos" that's such an inherent part of my existence.

i would imagine the connection could be extremely powerful if it could find balance. maybe an aquarian with some virgo in their chart with a virgo with some aquarius in their chart would work, as they'd be more used to balancing those energies.

Hi, I'm new here. Been lurking about for a bit. A bit about me: I'm an Aqua sun, Scorp Moon, and Sag Asc. My son is Aqua sun and Virgo moon and Aqua Asc., and dated some Virgo moon folks, so I have some idea of what Virgo moon folks are like.

"maybe an aquarian with some virgo in their chart with a virgo with some aquarius in their chart would work, as they'd be more used to balancing those energies. "

I can't really speak as a Virgo moon, but I can say this: all of us have the energies of all twelve zodiacal signs and houses. How we express the energies depends on several factors.
I have dated folks who, according to astrological writings, said were compatible with me which haven't worked out, and I am with someone now who I am supposedly incompatible with. This is the best relationship I have ever had on many levels. What I've learned is to regard every relationship beyond what the "heavens" say, to know what I want in a relationship, to trust my intuition and to go with the flow. Easier said than done at times, but definitely the happiest way to exist, for me.

"the connection could be extremely powerful if it could find balance"

            As with all connections.

(Not meant to be arrogant or supercilious, only to offer my .02.)

            Cheers,

    AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! NONONONONO VIRGOS!!!!!!!!

Both my parents virgos... not easy to deal with.

My bedroom always a state of creative chaos. No filth or rot, but clothes piled on the chair, books in disarray, etc. That's just how I've always been and how I continue to be.

My over-picky Virgo mother, however, always made sure to create some kind of drama out of that mess. Always telling me to clean it up. And an Aquarius, of course, NEVER likes to be told what to do. Major problems in adolescence. All because of a messy room. So stupid.

I got 2 mutable parents myself also Supernova.... Both Sagittarians. Only planet I have in Fire is my Uranus in Sag, only thing in Air is my Jupiter in Aqua.

I got a Leo sister, and Aries brother also! I was raised in the ring of fire.... they stole my fire!

I had to deal with 2 parents that gave me too many opinions, that now I have no sense of direction. My dad has been in School for over 40 years, and my mother is a creative genius... And has been working the same job since she was 18, and it is also her first job.

They are like Night and Day compared to eachothers. Though I like Sagittarians, I just don't think they are meant to be parents. I was raised a little adult, not a child.

I am a 12th House Leo with a Virgo Jupiter, Mercury and ASC, and an Aquarius Moon.

My mother is a Taurus, and my father was an Aquarius. I am an only child.

I, too, was raised to be a little adult, but I did not mind because I had plenty of time to myself to be a child as well. Now that I am <ahem> old-er, I seem to feel more like a child ~ as I knew childhood ~ than ever. That includes a tremendous silly streak.

Yeah.... That sums me up also!

Us Virgo risings are interesting personalities!

I got Virgo Moon in the 12th, and the ascendant. My Mercury is in Cancer, and in mutual reception to the Moon. And also conjunct to Castor in the 10th.

My dad is a War Vet... He fraught in Hamburger Hill himself. He does allot of voluntary work for the VA Hospital, and a local chapter post. Maybe Sun conjunct Mars in Cancer in the 10th? People tell me to get into the Army when they see this in my chart. Both of them are also trine to Pluto in Scorpio, sextile Moon in Virgo, and opposed Neptune in Capricorn.

My dad is a comedian type... Has a sadistic sense of humor. Got's a cazimi between Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius, opposed to Uranus in Gemini. He is too smart for his own good.... But cannot figure out simple problems.

Both my parents have Scorpio risings, with Pluto conjunct MC in Leo. I don't understand this connection too well....

My mother... Is blunt, rude, "always right", good natured :), and she has a Scottish accent too. one of them people born with blue eyes black hair. In her chart she has Sun, Moon, and Saturn all unaspected. She settled in life right away.

When I moved away from the family, years back. I now start feeling semi-close to my age.

We have quite a few things in common, you & I.

My father was a career Air Force officer and a veteran of WWII. My mother used to be always right. LOL. But now at 85, she concedes a few things now and then. Her father was Scottish, and she is likewise blue-eyed with dark hair, although it was bondish when she was a child. Her sister had the black eyes and dark brown hair of the Douglases. I do not know either of my parents' rising signs. I have posted their charts anyway.

They both have their Sun and Mercury in their natal signs of Aquarius and Taurus, respectively. My father's chart features an almost perfectly upright kite. Virgo seems to mitigate all three of us in greater and lesser degrees, most prominently with me. Both of my parents have their Neptune in Leo, my Sun sign.

My father had a Cancer Moon ~ my Venus is in Cancer and my Moon in Aquarius. It is sort of odd. I have always been closer to my mother because we have spent so much time together; but on a more nonverbal level, my father and I were more alike. The times we had real issues with each other were about my mother.

As for Sagittarians ~ I was close to a Sagittarian uncle ~ my father's slightly older brother. He had a most unpleasant side that would rear up now and then. I find Sag in general to have at least a kind of prickly side. I like them in small doses.

My mother and I are playful with each other, and I recently found out that I remind her of her (older) sister, who was a Capricorn. Frankly, I think I am nothing like my aunt, and this is just projected nostalgia ~ perhaps a bit of that Leo Neptune she and my father shared romancing a dream. LOL.

idk, really, im literally SCARED of that typically virgoan (?) face.

idk, those skeptic eyes, that... strained... attitude... thing... you can just tell they have by mere looking at their faces. its as if (some of) you exuded... criticisim and unapproval of... well, everything.

thing is, you said "A" virgo, not just "virgos".

                  gotcha. :]

my sisters a virgo and you can bet i have a connection with her (after YEARS of stupid, childish rivalry and hatred... but hatred finally). and one (ONE.) of my bestest friends has been a virgo.

now, that aside............. yeah, im scared of virgos. im really quite tender concerning criticism (stupid 12th house) and when i see a virgo, i KNOW that person is a virgo (or has lotsa virgo influence in him/her).

and their critic-y aura just scares me. (literally). so i tend to turn around and go the other way. :]

My moon is in Virgo, which makes relationship stuff fun! If you think analyzing yourself and second-guessing what you want is fun. Oh, and no to mention being anal and critical in many aspects.

My mom and dad both have Virgo moons, too. Actually my dad's a triple virgo (Virgo Sun, Moon, Asc.)--now THAT is scary. Let's just say I'm good at feeling guilty! haha

Other than that, I kinda like 'em... once you get past their craziness they're kind loving people. The longest relationship I ever had (2 yrs) was with a Virgo. :)

I was married twice, both Virgos. I thought I was loosing my mind until I started reading some horoscopes. I still don't understand what I see in the last marriage. She drove me crazy and I always felt trapped and all alone, I have moved a 1000 miles away from her, I hate her and still miss her and love her all at the same time and it's been over three months since I last saw her or even talked with her, I feel like there's this spell on me and no matter what I do I can't seem to get her out of my mind. I've been in a nice amount of relationships before and with better, but I can't seem to get over this one and I don't understand why I'm so attracted still. Is this what a Virgo does to an Aquarius ??? My second wifes birthday is August 31, 63 - Does this mean anything different than the first wife which was Sept 9th - 63 ?? Argggg...

Wow, I'm an aquarius dating two virgos, and all I can say is whoa! I love them to death, but the second they smell uncertainty in me, its ON!! Being with both of them has taught me to stick to my guns but not be that totally exasperatingly calm aquarius in the darkest hours of our relationships.

Hmm. I am a Leo with Virgo rising, which is a bit of a challenge in itself. My Mercury and Jupiter are also in Virgo, and my Moon is in Aquarius, along with Chiron. So if it walks and talks like a chimera....?

I have found that too much of a good thing...,well, you know the expression. So I like a little of everything, the operative word being "little". Sometimes you find that you can have a great time with some people in small doses, but an overdose is just poison. I also like to see certain people for certain things or at certain times. The rest of the time, I am glad to be alone.

Cute. Marital compromise. Internal compromise is interesting, too. I have Jupiter, Mercury, and ASC in Virgo and an Aquarian Moon and Chiron. That truly is an internal compromise, and once struck is really helpful. LOL! My father was an Aquarius and my mother is a Taurus. ( I am a Leo.) The compromise was easy for them. She was always right. LOL!

So... I've had 2 relationships with Aquarians, I'm a Virgin... I felt like they were nit-picky and anal and controling towards me... :-S

But, I just met another one of you beautiful water-bearers, and I think I'm going to give it another try... He seems awesome, I don't know if it's soemthing else in our charts, but he's great so far.

            I'm:

            virgo sun
            taurus moon
            gemini asc

            He's:
            aquarius sun
            gemini moon
            scorpio asc

I'm not sure if those signs should work out at all! lol

PS, I'm a messy, fun intellectual, not at all like the description of a virgo...

Not knowing much about astrology in the past, and just starting to learn now, I find it fascinating to step back and realize:

    In love;
Most of my long-term relationships (in the first 1/2 of my love life), were Virgos - it just happened that way.
My worst relationships have been with Virgos; extreme emotional connect, and extreme emotional co-dependency and dysfunction.
I wouldn't NOT consider dating a Virgo, but I'd be a lot more aware of warning signs and red flags.

Most more recent relationships have inadvertently been with Libras - it just happened that way.
My best relationships have been with Libras; usually for as long as they can handle my quirks, and I can handle their sometime seeming indifference, but definitely more soul-mate potentials than any other sign. I have to watch signs for co-dependency too, but communication about it is much easier with Libras, and that helps.

In family, my mother is a virgo - and we have always struggled with our relationship.
My son is a Libra, and my daughter is a Pisces. I tend to over-communicate with both of them, but maybe that's just a parenting thing....
  • Re: aquarius vs virgos

I got Jupiter in Aquarius myself.... With Uranus in Sagittarius.... mutual reception (Both are singleton, only Air and Fire sign respectively) My 6th house is ruled by Aquarius.

I'm a Cancer Sun, with a Virgo Moon, Cancer Mercury, Virgo Rising.

The main difference I see is Virgo just tells it like it is, without placing any judgment, they lay all the cards out on the table. Sometimes they talk with so much detail that they can come off judgmental. And Virgos are extremely sensitive and emotional under their exterior. I believe that Virgo is linked towards nurturing. It rules over the storing of the nutrients in your body. Virgo also rules over divorce. Virgos main principle is to take two things, and discriminate between them, as Gemini brings 2 together as one. Virgo even rules over slavery.

Aquarius rules over friendship. They need companionship, and social contact. Virgos can hide themselves in their houses for weeks. Also Aquarians like to lesson to a drummer of their own, Virgo on the other hand doesn't mind taking orders. Aquarius might be attracted to Virgo because they represent everything that they don't stand for, structure. Virgos are sponges when it comes to knowledge, and what they remember, usually is in detail, and creditable.

Virgos help out allot of people just to feel the need of service. Virgo has to feel wanted. Aquarius on the other hand, likes independence and expressing freedom. From Virgo, Aquarius is the 6th sign.... Work.

From Aquarius, Virgo is the 8th sign. Death/Mystery

That means in plain terms that there is usually a fascination on Aquarius part, and work on Virgos part. Virgo's are very intellectual.... though I belive that Virgo is more connected to the Earth, then what modern astrology likes to give it. I meet allot of Virgo potheads.... That kind of come off like Scorpios.... Ironically enough.
    • Re: aquarius vs virgos

      Fri, October 31, 2008 - 8:38 PM
I see Virgos and Aquarians with each others quite often. And the theme I see is Virgo and Aquarius both try to prove their valid points to each others.... If Virgo sees any flaws, they point it out.

Aquarius might forget some details, and try to bring the message across. Virgo will point it out. It looks like Aquarius likes to push Virgos buttons, and put them in the spotlight more-so. Virgo can handle it just well. Like above, I feel Virgo isn't all related to the mental sphere. I belive that some of the goddesses may have a part. The Greeks give Virgo the rulership over Ceres, Persephone, Vesta, and in Esoteric Astrology the Moon. Now Virgo is represented purely by goddesses, with Mercury as the planet ruler.

I believe that Virgos need emotional push. Even if they don't like it, because they usually got a treasure chest of knowledge hidden. Coming after Leo, Virgo doesn't have the need to be in the spotlight. Thats why they can be under-achievers, and live by their means. When you get them to reveal an emotional character, and are comfortable..... They give excellent advice. Virgos are the best people to go to if a friend or family member died. Virgos are built to bring order out of chaos. It is the only sign that is able to think out emotions (feminine Mercury), basically able to make an emotion out of a thought.

And this is usually why they have high stung nerves.... bounce back between both them realms!

Aquarius to me, seem to make themselves more noticeable. Don't like too much personal contact. Treat the world wonderfully, but not so much on the home front. Aquarius isn't known as a sign of tradition. From a Virgos perspective.... Virgo sees Aquarius as someone who goes out of their way to be different. If the Virgo has a Libra Venus, they will have an eye for patterns, and more then likely be interested in designing. I belive that Mercury in Virgo, Vs Mercury in Aquarius would be a disaster, as Virgo Mercury is known as being too smart for its own good, and Aquarius Mercury is quick, intuitive judgment.

Virgo likes abuse though.... They are good at being uncomfortable, so they cannot stop changing all the time..... It is a mutable sign.
