Ok, he's a Scorpio, and maybe cuz I have a weird, lusty attraction for those dungeon-dwellers, I adore listening to lectures of Terrence McKenna. The way he talks (even his nasal voice!), his large and intellectual vocabulary, the way he speaks in a slow and methodical fashion...and of course his far-out ideas which totally make sense to me!!
Any other McKenna fans out there? I think he's intellectual stimulation/masturbation for the typical Aquarian!!!
(if you haven't heard him, just Google, you're sure to find some recorded lectures, or go to psychedelicsalon.org and search for his name)

Re: Terrence McKenna -- truly appeals to the Aquarian mind
Tue, December 2, 2008 - 10:29 AMInteresting person, when I lived in Hawai`i nei for a time (mid to late '80s), I seem to recall binding some pamphlets or books for him and his partner.
Seemed like a 'regular joe' to me, but then I grew up with quite a few dungeon dwellers and whatnots about. Odd to me is normal for many others.

Tue, December 30, 2008 - 7:26 PMOk so this is a slightly delayed post but OH MY!!!
I have been in love with Terrence McKenna since I first heard what he had to say, he is just AMAZING, he has such a strong plutonic influence, the psychonaut depth of his doesn't surprise me the slightest. But yes, he's words are ................ how else could i put it, nothing compares.
What seminars/talks have you liked the best so far???

Wed, December 31, 2008 - 3:03 PMAh, if you've only READ Terrence, you must HEAR him. Go to www. matrixmasters.com and look for podcasts of his lectures.
I love "In the Valley of Novelty," it's a 10-part series where he expounds on everything and more. -

Fri, January 2, 2009 - 8:25 PMBurnt out? No way, he was sharp as a tack.
Incoherent? Only if you're not smart enough to understand what he's talking about.
Scorpion? Yup.
Maybe you're thinking of Tim Leary (who bugs me with his acidic ramblings... yeesh!! Stay on point and stop giggling!)
