Or am i just attracted to them.

Hey, i want to know if anyone knows something about Aquarius and Pisces. If Aquarius’s (plural??) are attracted to them in particular for some reason; i have had two female friends, who turned out to be pieces, before i found out that they were Pisces, things were ok. i felt a possibility for an intense and rewarding relationship, but once i found out they were Pisces i sort of lost interest.

The thing is i had this long-term relationship with a Pisces, and while the relationship, which was indeed intense and somewhat rewarding in an empirical sense. However, there was lots of drama, and I found myself becoming way too emotional.

But still I wonder if there is any kind of connection that these two signs have that would make them (at least in my case) keep coming together?

i have your chart you know....

but seriously tho, trying to match based on sun sign doesn't really work. you'll always be surprised.

actually, looking at your chart, while you don't have anything in water signs but one tiny asteroid, you do have strong neptune and pluto influences in your chart - neptune being of pisces and pluto being of scorpio. you actually have indications of certain emotinalities in your chart. and possibly there is something about you that might be comforted by a water sign.

I don't normally place a whole lot of weight on astrology when it comes to relationships (it can be an interesting indicator or "second opinion" of what you already know).
But I too, was in a long-term relationship with a Pisces. It was somewhat rocky from the start, but incredibly intense, both highs and lows. I learned a lot, but I wouldn't say we were compatible in the long-term... it was just very emotional. And I am also careful not to blame the other person, though that doesn't mean you should mistake that for sticking together. More often than not, you need to work on your own shit outside of the drama of that kind of relationship. That all being said, I will love that woman for the rest of my life even though we are no longer together and don't always "get along".

i've been with an aquarian too. and i found the beginning to be very sweet but the rest to be pretty trying.
but then i have very strong aquarian tendancies (thus here i am) so its hard to say what was up with that.

            Ok, wait.

Pisces is the oldest sign while Aquarius is the youngest?

            What does that mean?

Arize what’s the “ruling house”? I’m pretty ignorant about astrology.

um, no. Piesces is the oldest while Aries is the youngest. the signs have an aparent age. Aires is the new born baby while piesces is the return to childhood that happens in ld age. I see the Aquarians as the content people who have seen it all know who they are and how the universe works.

Arize what’s the “ruling house”? I’m pretty ignorant about astrology.
the question is a little unclear cause a sign can rule a house, but also planets and signs have houses that they correspond with. and then some people use a method to find out what rules a person's chart... so i'll just explain the whole thing cause i'm not sure what a ruling house is...

so, a chart wheel is divided into houses. that's one kind of pie slice.
and its divided into signs. that's another kind of pie slice.
              there's 12 of each.

so there is a correspondence - of sign, house and planet.

for example, the order of the signs starts in aries and ends in pisces.
so aries is 1st house, taurus 2nd.... aquarius 11th, pisces 12th.
so if your 11th house begins in aquarius (clockwise) thats a comfortable place to put things aquarian and sort of emphasizes aquarius especially if there is a planet there. that planet will be very aquarian.

but also, you can talk about various houses being ruled by a certain sign. basically, the sign that the beginning of a house falls in is what rules that house, regardless of if its only a tiny sliver. for example, libra rules your 6th house, even tho for you that house is mostly occupied by scorpio.

and then each sign has a planet that it "rules" - a planet that has coinciding characteristics with.

aries - mars (used to be with scorpio)
              taurus - venus (with libra)
              gemini - mercury (with virgo)
              cancer - moon
              leo - sun
              virgo - mercury (with gemini)
              libra - venus (with taurus)
scorpio - pluto (used to be mars with aries)
sagittarius - Jupiter (used to be with pisces)
              capricorn - saturn
pisces - neptune (used to be jupiter with sagittarius)

but also, each planet has variying degrees of emphasis or kinds of emphasis depending on which sign they are in.
              for example:
uranus is "ruled" by aquarius, "exhalted" in scorpio, in "detriment" in leo, and "falls" in taurus. and yeah, its kind of just how it sounds, only less negative on the negative ones. so it puts a strong and comfortable emphasis to have a planet in its ruling or exhalting sign, and it weakens or even messes up the influence of a planet for it to be in the sign of its detriment or fall. and then there are 8 signs in which the planet is kind of neutral.
here's a table of all teh planets and their placements: www.angelfire.com/empire/se...TABLE.html

and then i'm not gonna go into how and why, but there are methods by which astrologers determine if there is one sign and/or planet that rules your whole chart. sometimes there's not.

anyway, you can learn astrology basics here, but i find the guy's interpretations to be really dry and often off the mark, as well as way to brief. he's sort of like canned astrology at its height. but its good for understanding the system of astrology: www.bobmarksastrologer.com/TOCl...s.htm

and then here's this site that i think has some really good things to say about reading a chart:
              www.angelfire.com/empire/se...ology.html

and then, you can learn a lot at www.astro.com but i find thier "astro click" chart thingy in the "free horoscopes" section to be the most informative and most easily accessed part of their website.

and i really like most of the interpretations at this website www.astrologyweekly.com/ but its kinda hard to navigate. i think the easiest thing to do is to go to their astrology dictionary (in the left column) and look for what you want to know: www.astrologyweekly.com/dictio...dex.php

and then there is this site which is a descent alternative: www.artcharts.com/

              ok. done.
