The true beginning of the Age of Aquarius, some were saying back on Valentine's Day, 2009.
I do not have much knowledge at all of astrology. (My own chart, including moon node info, is given on my Tribe.net profile.)
I just wonder what signs people here on this tribe may be noticing in planetary/global or social events that might indicate that a shift has taken place. Just thought I'd post and see if anyone would respond.

then, as hard as the economy has been, its nice to see people getting back to their basic priorities of hearth and home and family, and rejecting blind consumerism
companies that build gas guzzlers fail, while companies that invest in fuel conservation and alternative fuel vehicles are doing ok depsite the recession
the locavore movement
people like Blagojevich and Madoff and OJ simpson hopefully going to jail and staying there
California relaxing its tolerance to Medicinal Marijuana and the pot clubs
Maybe legalizing hemp to stimulate the economy further -

How do you see this shift into the Aquarian Age interacting with (on the one hand) the striving for consciousness evolution that a sort of vanguard of aware people are striving for (through yoga, ascension practices, energy work, etc) and (on the other) patterns of control, greed, violence, division amongst some very powerful and influential groups? And can you be a bit specific?
Yeah, I'm referring to the U.S. situation, but also to the world.
