average sound;
antiquated interface;
restrictive interface ie itunes;
restrictive use of material you buy via itunes ie proprietary format;
laughable advertising: somehow if you have an ipod, you are cool........just like gazillions of others who don't know anything about technology and just trust that the dumbed down version of reality and such is the way to go...one essentially becomes a pod person when they thought they were gonna be hip;
anything in white is tacky and bad

Hell, my mom's 1st generation Zune is a much more pleasant experience than an Ipod
unless of course you have a Mac.....then you are stuck in Macworld

and I LUV it.
its endurance has been awesome, and its real stylish, even compared to the newest ones. -
