leo is known for stability (earth).. materialistic indulgence (earth) and ambitions that includs money and status (earth). its hard to move (earth) from the crown.

This is actually something that has traditionally been part of Astrology for a very long time, but is often left out. Obviously Aquarius is going to have a closer relationship with other water signs than the other two air signs would, and Sagg is going to be closer to Aquarius (symbiotic relationship between the atmosphere and lightning) than the other fire signs are especially Aries which is earth fire. Looking at the specific forms of the elements can sometimes help describe the differences in personality. For example, Taurus is the most rigid and stable but dont bend or adapt as well. Capricorn is slightly more flexible for an earth sign. Leos like to be the center of attention, and are represented by the Sun. The Ocean is tied the Moon which rules cancer. Jupiter goes back to Zeus which rules Sagg. Its a pretty interesting world view they came up with.

Here is something interesting about the sign elements. For Earth.... VIrgo is sand and soil, the fertile ground Taurus is rocks and stones, including gems Capricorn is Metals. For Water Scorpio is deep and still water like lakes and pools. Pisces is rivers and streams. Cancer is the Ocean For fire Aries is earth fire Leo is solar fire Sagittarius is electricity, and lightning. For air Gemini and Libra are both winds, and Im not sure if there is a clear difference between them, but there is one. Aquarius is the water bearer, so its most obvious manifestation is clouds and rain as the air that carries water. I am personally a Sagittarius, and I think I get along well with Aquarius.
